A good day
Today was a good day. I love days like this. Woke up to brilliant sunshine and - even though it got awfully hot for mid-May - I thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. My two dogs, Daisy and Mitchell, got me up around 6:15am wanting to go outside. I let them out then crawled back into bed to try and catch a few more hours of sleep. An hour later I was still wide awake, stressing about the WIP, so I got up and took a shower. Made coffee, woke up hubby at 8, and wrote. I got 7 pages total - not a lot, but enough for such a beautiful Saturday. Then I went to Target, got groceries, stopped by my friend's house and dropped off a card and gift for her daughter's high school graduation, came home and swam in the pool (a balmy 84 degrees!), changed and went out to eat at On The Border, stopped by Basspro Shops, and back home. Now I'm relaxing with a cold Corona and checking email (and for once, remembering to post on my poor blog!)
My husband installed a Bimini top on our new boat and we bought a towable thing to pull behind it - especially on Memorial day when we are camping out at Lake Grapevine and family and friends are coming to hang out and do water sports etc. I'm really looking forward to it.
On the writing side, I've gotten lots of great email about One Eye Closed, a lot of people seem to have enjoyed it and the Pack, and I'm steaming ahead on my Capturing the Crown title.
Better go check email!
